Finally, one of the most waiting news in the mobile games community has finally arrived, Genshin Impact 2.5 Trailer is just released today, 4 February 2022.
Watching Genshin Impact’s trailer is never been a disappointment. miHoYo always created a beautifully stunning visual with something that tickles gamers’ curiosity about the futures that they’re gonna introduce in the upcoming update.
There are a few things that Genshin Impact tries to tell in this 2.5 trailer. Something that a lot of players’ already waiting for so long, especially since Inazuma is already released.
An event? Yes, but no, there’s something more. New map? Nope.
It’s A new character that peoples’ already fallen in love at the first sight, I guess you’ve already who she is. Yes, Yae Miko, the character that helps Traveler to defeat Ei aka Raiden Shogun.
There are also a few things that we already know since watching Genshin Impact’s trailer 2.5, which is:
New Problem in Enkanomiya
Enkanomiya is a place in Inazuma that is located under the ground. Even the sun can’t pierce its light to this land. That’s why people in Enkanomiya prefer to create an artificial sun.
This place is already released in the Genshin Impact 2.4 update, Highlighting this once again only has one meaning, new problem = new quest for travelers to step and conquer.
There are a few dialog lines from Abyss Lector that makes me wonder, what is he supposed to be when is he says “What’s with you joining forces with them?” Is Abbys Lector talking to his friend that already become a partner with Traveler?
If that so, what’s he gonna do next? Joining too? Making alliances with Traveler to resolve Enkanomiya’s problem?
Yae Miko Becomes Playable Character in 2.5 Update?
Yae Miko steals the mid part of this 2.5 trailer with her appearance and onee-san voices. Making people’s eyes and ears focus on her.
After a little bit of dialog to Traveler, “You alright, little one?” Yae Miko performs her attack combo defeating an enemy.
Showing this hype for Genshin Impact fans is definitely has a meaning. What is that? Introduce Yae Miko as a new playable character. This formula has been used for some trailers in the past.

What Happen to Raiden Shogun (Ei)?
“You wish to make yourself my enemy?”
– Raiden Shogun
Is she becoming evil again like she used to be in the previous patch update? If yes, then who’s gonna help us right now? Yae Miko again?
As you’ve already known, Raiden Shogun is the archon of Inazuma. Meaning that she’s one of the most powerful entities in Genshin Impact’s lore. Beating her without any help is just doesn’t make any sense.
Except if Traveler can use Talk no Jutsu to her. Brings Raiden Shogun’s beautiful memories to the surface when she walkaround Inazuma with Traveler.
Raiden Shogun is targeted to be the next re-run banner character in this 2.5 update. Pulling her is a good choice, especially because of how strong is she as Sub DPS character.
In this Genshin Impact Tier List, I put her as an SS-tier character.
One thing more, her new skin looks really cool and badass. Something that gonna milk player’s wallet if miHoYo released it.
